About
Pelota means ball in Spanish. The girl ‘Pelota’ in the clip somehow, inexplicably, has the power to turn into one. And by the time we’d finished making this crazy little clip, conceived in the curious minds of Hugo RodrĂguez RodrĂguez & Alvaro Sotomayor, we stopped asking why, we stopped asking how, we were all just were little balls of happiness floating through time and space.
Honestly this has been my favourite job since joining Glassworks and I hope there are many many more to come. I worked as the lead compositor and online editor, steering the best most delightful motley lil’ crew in the world. I designed some end titles as well, and did a bit of C4D in my scene featured below too.
The artists worked with whatever tools they felt comfortable in, so it ranged from C4D to Maya, Nuke to Krita, and of course the usual After Effects / Premiere / Photoshop / Illustrator suspects.
